I would like to hear if someone else has tried this unlock code successfully? And, would it work on a Verizon phone?
I recently traveled to the UK and France for almost 2 weeks on business. At the last minute I decided to just get the Verizon international data package. It was $25/100 mb of data. I went through that data in about 3 days of VERY limited use before they billed me for another 100mb. So, I ended up keeping the phone off, except when in wifi range (and used Skype or Vonage Extensions for voice on wifi).
Next time, probably this summer, I would like to just get a sim card when in Europe.

If you want to try you can use the international SIM card of Tsim. I think this will more beneficial for you. This will save our money.
