Using S Note - Handwriting to Text Mode?

When I use the S pen with S note, the keyboard comes up and only allows me to hit the letters.

I use Swift Key and the keyboard does not allow me to switch to handwriting to text mode.

How can I make this change , so I can use handwriting to text?
I'm not familiar how to change this setting?
    Thanks.

This is because you are using the SwiftKey keyboard. SwiftKey does not have a handwriting mode. If you want to use a handwriting "keyboard", you need to use the stock Samsung keyboard.

Thanks, I thought that was it.

I can't find the setting where I can change the keyboard back to the Samsung keyboard.
    Where is it?

Go to Languate and Input and to the right of the Samsung Keyboard (probably grayed out) should be a settings icon. Tap on that.
Then check the Pen Detection box. Anytime you tap with the spen in a text box, it will open a pad on the bottom of your screen to write into.

In S Note in the Note 3, if you are having a problem getting handwriting to change to text, open a new note, tap of the T for text at the top, and when the keyboard appears touch and hold on the microphone symbol. A small window will open where you will tap on the T (text) key again. Then as you hand write your notes in the bottom field along the dotted line provided, it will change to text at the top. I have seen other threads about keyboards and automatic date and time being the problem, but I don't believe they are related. S note will work if you just follow the steps I have listed above.
