Root Galaxy Note 2 Verizon on 4.1.2 ?

    Hey guys,

Just cracked my screen on my old phone and have to re-install and re-root on my replacement Note 2. I can't seem to find any way of rooting again that is made for the build I'm on: JZ054K.1605VRAMC3

I downloaded the Galaxy Note 2 toolkit and even donated to get the updates. I can't get it to update and I don't see my build in the list.

Anyone know how I can get rooted again? I want to install Titanium backup. Thanks guys!

    David

For just root use framaroot. I can send it to you if need be. If you also want to unlock the bootloader use the no you method

Thanks guys. I appreciate your help. I'll give framaroot a try.

Another quick question, if you crack your screen on your rooted device, and have to send it in to insurance (Assurion), do I need to un-root first? I can understand when sending it back to the carrier but the insurance company won't require me to unroot it will they?

Any idea if framaroot will again work after I run the update that was just pushed out by Samsung/Verizon? I've noticed that when I run these system updates, that I lose root. I assume it will be easy to root again using framaroot but can anyone confirm they ran the KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (Verizon) and all went well?
