Welcome to the forum. Is your phone rooted or stock and have you done a soft reboot?

    Hello,
My phone is not rooted. I do not know what stock is. How do you do a soft reboot?

Press and hold the power button for a few seconds, a dialogue box will open, select reboot. If that doesn't help you may have to try a Factory Data Reset or re-install the original firmware using Kies or Odin.

Clear data and cache in the Contacts app. Do the same thing in the Contacts Storage app. Reboot your phone. Hopefully you saved all your contacts to Google.
